Depending on your expertise and career path, you may be involved in: - Cell & Materials Development: R&D of cathodes, anodes, electrolytes, separators, and related sub-materials; exploring new chemistries, designs, and processes for improved performance, safety and lifetime.
- Pack & Module Engineering: Structural and electrical design, component development and validation, safety testing, performance prediction, and process optimization.
- Battery Management Systems (BMS): Hardware and software design, diagnostic/control algorithms, and AI/Big Data–based predictive modeling and safety solutions.
- Analysis & Simulation: Electrochemical, structural, and materials characterization; advanced simulation and modeling for performance and reliability assessment.
- Next-Generation Technologies: Development of beyond-lithium-ion batteries (e.g., solid-state, lithium-sulfur, sodium-ion), in collaboration with global partners.
- Application Development: EV, ESS, small-format batteries, and new applications—bridging fundamental R&D with real-world implementation.
- Digital Transformation & AI: Smart factory initiatives, big data analytics, and AI/ML solutions for defect detection, predictive maintenance, and process automation.
| | Qualifications |

- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. degree in engineering, natural sciences, or data/AI–related disciplines (e.g., Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Energy Science, Computer/Data Science, Industrial Engineering, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply academic knowledge to industrial applications.
- Team-oriented mindset and eagerness to drive innovation in a global R&D environment.
